Recovering from foot surgery - I had reconstructive on my
ankle along with some torn tendon repair. When I reached the
point where I was ready to wear shoes I couldn't find any that
fit and felt good. I asked my doctor for a recommendation and
he suggested a New Balance shoe because you can get them in
larger sizes and wider widths. It's the only shoes I've been
able to wear without adding pain to my still swollen foot. I
like them so much I bought them in white and black. Great
NB's! I bought these in pink for my daughter and she loves
them. She wears them with everything! The shoes fit perfectly
and are very comfortable. They do have a wider look to them,
more like a skater shoe than a sneaker. Very Satisfied with
Quality and Fit - Since this was my first order at Zappos, I
was uncertain about fit and quality of the New Balance shoe I
had ordered. This was my first New Balance shoe and I did not
have high expectations. I left on vacation with my new shoes,
hoping that I wouldn't be sorry. I was not and I am singing
