I have an unusual shoe size - 5.5W. This means my choices are
very limited. I have had the best luck with New Balance. These
shoes are simple looking (I have the white). They fit snug but
not tight, even with my wide feet. They have nice padding and
ankle support. The first time I tried them on I was not sure I
liked them, they seemed stiff, but after wearing them around
the house for a while I really liked them. They felt good
after a short (1/2 day) break in period and are very comfy
now. I would recommend this shoe, especially for small or wide
feet! Happy with Shoe - I wear a 9 2A, and this shoe fits
perfectly. It accommodates my orthotics, which I need because
I have a high arch. I use them to exercise indoors, and they
were comfortable from the day I got them. The shoe's arch may
not be sufficient for running. My toes were almost at the end,
so if you are near to needing a larger size, I recommend
getting it when you order. New Balance WX621 - I bought this
shoe for hospital work and was disappointed. I can't even wear
them on those hard hospital floors for 2 hours without my legs
and feet aching. BUT- they are awesome for everywhere else. As
a regular tennis/athletic shoe they are great. Good fit, nice
toe box room, nice support. Just not enough impact cushioning
for me at work. |
