Wow, I’m glad I snagged me a pair before they sold out all over the place. Very cute and comfortable. I’ve owned many pair and styles of UGG: Ultra short, Classic short, Classic tall, Carlisle, Brooks, Tasman slippers, Dakota slippers, Layback sandals. Whew! The La Jolla is the new one for me this year. Very cute, easy on/off (just adjust the lacing the first time you wear them), love the Nubuck and LOVE the shadow color– kind of dark olivey grey and will go with everything. Unlike other UGGs, these even make my foot look small. They will not be quite as warm as most other styles because the footbed is not shearling. HOWEVER, the footbed is this super squishy and comfy insole. So, it offers a more supportive, firmer feeling than the classic styles. Still, extremely comfortable. I’ll pull on my classics in the most severe weather but when I want to look cute and still be warm, I’ll pull on these. On to sizing. In standard shoes I’m an 8.5 when shoes are offered in half sizes and a 9 when they are offered in full sizes only. In all the UGG classic styles I’m an 8 (I don’t wear socks with them) and in the more structured styles like the Brooks I’m a 9. I ordered both the 8 and 9. The 9 were big even with socks, the 8 fit great even with socks. So, I’d say they run about a half size big and you should order your “normal size for the classic Uggs” even though I would consider the La Jolla to be in the more structured style category. These are a winner and I understand now why they sold out so quickly. Springy warm boots - Love the new soles in these. No sheepskin on the bottom, but has a super springy cushy footbed. Come untied too easily. Hard to tie and untie to get into as I have a super high arch. If you don’t have a high arch you probably can leave them tied all the time. Fabulous! I love these boots! They look fabulous, they feel like air, and they’re really water proof, as an unexpected storm proved for me the first day I wore them. Also, they stood up to the water nicely without marking the suede. I LOVE these!
Lots of compliments - This boot is too cute. Different than the average bear and really does feel good “barefoot.” I did need to put an arch insert in it. (A little too flat for my foot). I would buy the taller style too if I could afford them.

Another great UGG - As always, comfy right out of the box. The only thing I would change is for the sole to have fleece as well. I can’t figure out why it doesn’t. I always have to order one size down but these don’t have as much give to them as other styles so you might fit your regular size wearing socks with these. Love them!!! These are the cutest Uggs. I also have the Short Classic and the Ultra Tall and these are right up there with them. I got them in the shadow color which I love!!! Comfy and cute what more could you want. And the price is not bad either. So happy with these boots - I’m actually a size 9 1/2 but ordered these in the 9 because my regular Uggs that I bought years ago are a 9. I was scared that they might not fit because of the reviews here but they fit perfect even with thick socks. They’re so cute with dresses and leggings and “skinny” jeans tucked in. Love these boots! Very comfy - These definitely run smaller than the basic short and tall styles. I take an 8 regularly in shoes and took a 7 in the classic tall/short. But these are more true to your “normal size”. They are very soft and cushiony. But do not expect the sock liner to be plush. It’s plain leather. Overall, A++ Absolutely adorable alternative to the Classic short. These are so darn cute. I’ve been wearing them with cropped tights and skirts so that I can show them off. So far I have received nothing but glowing compliments on my cute Uggs.
Sheepskin lining varies from boot to boot - I got one pair of these boots (in shadow) and loved them so much I decided to get a pair in cork. While both boots have the same wonderful footbed and look cute in either color, the softness of the fleece inside is different in each pair - one is much softer than the other. So, while I rate this boot as extremely comfortable overall, the fleece in one pair is a bit itchy and in the other pair is very soft. That’s my only complaint - otherwise, this boot is great, the footbed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever found.
