Review of La Jolla and Zappos - I have found this shoe to be so comfy and not quite as heavy as other Ugg boots. It is a combination shoe/bootie. Because there is no fleece on the bottom you have good foot connection to the sole of the shoe. I am pleased with the lacing as well. I am so impressed with Zappos I will try to buy all my shoes here. With the return policy, no shipping, and courteous service why would anyone buy elsewhere? La Jolla - I was fortunate enough to get this boot before my size went. I have the other Minis and this one is different. It has moderate arch support with a wonderful sole that makes your feet feel like you never want to take them off. The usual Mini Uggs are quite different although I still love them all. I highly recommend the La Jolla too. One suggestion though: use the stain repellant before you wear the boot. I have gotten lots and lots of compliments on this one boot alone. Well worth the price and more comfy than the Mini.

Warm and light - Well, after watching the site for a month or so, I finally scored a pair of these. I wear a 7.5 or 8 in regular shoes, ordered these in 8, and the size is fine. I can slip them on and off without unlacing, unless I want them tight for walking. The footbed is soft and very comfortable, though I think it’s a bit too soft to offer real support for all-day walking; I add firm arch supports sometimes. The shoes are warmer if I wear thin socks with them. As for style: I was standing in a shoe store the other day looking at the Ugg display and remarked that I don’t do classic Uggs anymore. Another 30-something lady overheard me and commented, “No, we’re not 21 anymore.” Ain’t that the truth? I appreciate that Ugg is adding some structure to its shoes - love the warmth, but I just can’t do that floppy slipper look anymore. Slim Profile - Unlike the classic Uggs, this shoe has a slim profile and very smooth leather, which makes it look a bit more polished. The sizing was perfect for me and I love the way the shoe cradles my foot from toe to heel. The insert also conforms to the foot with wear–another plus. As a final note, I have low arches and this shoe does not bother them in the least. Best Ugg Boot! This boot is awesome! It’s not as “formless” as the classic Uggs, so it looks nicer. The height is perfect for pants or jeans, and they have some style! They are every bit as comfortable as the classics, maybe more so because they have more structure and support. I am thrilled with them and recommend them to everyone!

Shadow looked better - Love these boots originally bought both colors, thought that I would be “safe” and keep the cork, but returned the cork after asking several friends and family members. They all hands down chose the Shadow color, it is very nice looking. The shadow is much more striking and cool looking. If you want to play it safe and basic, go for the cork but the cork color looks like everyone else’s shoe out there. Shadow does look a bit grey/olive but not “green” it is very soft and rich looking. EVERYONE loves the shadow. Cork is pretty too, but more “ordinary” looking. Fits true to size and not as clunky as the Ugg Classic shoe. They are fine without adding inserts; the shoe lining is buttery soft inside and needs no liner. You could wear it without socks, just will be soft and not fuzzy. Feels like you are walking on air, very comfortable shoe. These are lace up shoes, so I just relace them every time instead of shoving my foot inside and having them loose, they are not like Classic Ugg to slip your foot in, but are a great shoe. Ugg does it again… I bought my first pair of Uggs 25 years ago…been wearing them ever since. This little boot is a great shoe…looks really cute on. Unlike the classics, this boot fits true to size (I wear a 9, bought a 9, the 9 fits). No sheepskin footbed was a little different, but the insole is extremely comfortable. Bought the Tall version as well!!!

Ugg La Jolla boots - These boots are soft and very warm and are meant to be worn without socks. Most people will be able to slip their feet in with out retying the laces after the first time. Plenty of room in the toe box which accommodates my wide foot. Looks great with jeans. I bought mine for winter walking and there is a nice tread on the soles. Uggs La Jolla-Cork Love these shoes. They are very comfortable and the cork color is really nice. Bought my normal size and they fit perfectly.
